Davis Horse
Davis Horse is a 16 year old youth from Thunderchild First Nation. He is a fluent Cree speaker and an avid hunter.
He lives a traditional lifestyle and is well known in Indian Country. He takes pride in living in a "Cree Only Zone" home with his Grandparents, Max and Ira Horse, and his young Uncle George. |

is nehiyaw iskwew from the Kehewin Cree Nation in Treaty 6 territory. She is an Assistant Professor at MacEwan University with the Faculty of Health and Community Studies. Prior to her academic career, Amber's work was within our communities predominantly in the areas of health and addictions services. As a mother of three daughters and a daughter of an IRS survivor, Amber's life work is healing, trauma management, and Indigenous resurgence (healing and wellness practices). Amber's latest research explores human service and social work practice as ceremony. Her foundation is deeply rooted in the teachings from her nohkom, parents, extended family, community and her educational journey at Blue Quills University.
