THINK INDIGENOUS INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE
Established in 2015, TIIEC is Canada’s largest and only grassroots International Indigenous Education Conference. Highlighting Indigenous knowledge, TIIEC aims to bring together Indigenous thinkers to share innovation that supports our schools, communities and children.
THINK INDIGENOUS RED Talks
On March 7, 2013 Ryan McMahon (https://www.redmanlaughing.com/) shared the concept of RED Talks on social media “Imagine a weekend of inspiring, transformative, Indigenous creative space”. In 2014, Chris Scribe, Executive Director of Think Indigenous Events, spoke with Ryan about bringing Revolutionary, Educational, Decolonizing (RED) Talks to life through the Think Indigenous platform.
THINK INDIGENOUS Youth Events
Creating space for our Youth to find their voice and learn how to navigate colonial spaces by Thinking Indigenous is one of the driving forces behand the work we do. Through partnerships with school divisions, Indigenous communities, Institutions and organizations we have been able to support two very important initiatives; Think Indigenous Youth Day & Think Indigenous RED Talks
THINK INDIGENOUS Professional Development
Relevant Indigenous professional development is something that is offered by THINK INDIGENOUS. Although centered around Education, many much of the PD delivered is applicable to a wide variety of organizations.
