Think Indigenous International Education Conference 2026 invites educators, scholars, community leaders, and students to submit abstracts for presentations, and workshops. This conference is dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices and exploring innovative approaches to education rooted in Indigenous knowledge systems, cultural practices, and leadership.
Conference Themes
We encourage submissions that align with the following themes:

• Revitalizing Indigenous Languages 

          Strategies for preservation, revitalization, and integration into educational settings.

• Culturally Responsive Pedagogy

          Best practices in designing and implementing education that honors Indigenous traditions and values.

• Indigenous Educational Leadership

          Promoting Indigenous leadership in education systems and policy development.

• Decolonizing Education

          Methods to challenge colonial narratives and integrate Indigenous perspectives in curricula.

• Community and Land-Based Learning

          Exploring the role of land, community, and intergenerational knowledge in education.

• Indigenous Student Success

          Supporting Indigenous students in navigating educational systems while maintaining cultural identity.
Submission Guidelines
We welcome a variety of formats, including but not limited to:

• 20 Minute Presentations
• 60 Minute Workshops
• 15 Minute Paper Presentations
• Poster Presentations

Abstracts should include:

1. Title of your presentation/workshop/panel.
2. A summary (max. 300 words) outlining your topic, objectives, and relevance to the conference themes.
3. The preferred presentation format and any technical requirements.
4. A brief biography of the presenter(s) (max. 150 words).
